The Unlimited Company from Simplyhealth is helping Team BRIT a team of military veterans to get on the right track with the ultimate aim of racing at the Le Mans 24hrs. The partnership will help the team to show the world that they can achieve goals they never thought they were capable of.
Team BRIT’s aim is to inspire people with disabilities, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and mental health issues by demonstrating what can be achieved through motorsport. They are taking the first step on that ladder this year by competing in the Fun Cup Endurance Championship with a two-car team. www.funcup.co.uk
Matt Main, Managing Director – The Unlimited Company commented “We’re delighted to be partnering with Team BRIT. We believe in living life without limits and their goal to drive in the Le Mans 24 hour race is certainly doing that! We are really excited to be supporting the team to achieve their goal.”
Dave Player, Team Principal – Team BRIT said “We’re over the moon that The Unlimited Company has chosen to partner with Team BRIT. We want to give those that want to step up to a higher level of racing the opportunity to do so, regardless of injuries, competing against teams of able-bodied drivers on a totally level playing field — something that no other sport can offer.”
