Sally Edgington

Sally joined the BHTA in January 2015 as Research & Committee Support Officer reporting to the Director of Governance & Policy. Sally has a varied career history having worked in sales, marketing and as Caseworker for Care & Repair. Sally has also set up a county wide referral scheme aimed at vulnerable adults and was responsible for 6 local schemes and the central hub. During her time in this role Sally looked as service provision across the county of Northamptonshire and chaired local & regional meetings. Sally also has experience of organising and management of large scale events such as conferences, AGMs, exhibitions and roadshows.

Away from work Sally is a voluntary fundraiser and organises events throughout the year to raise money for the RNLI and has raised almost £10,000 for them. Sally also works in a voluntary capacity supporting/ befriending  a gentlemen who’s had a stroke and she regular visits him and takes him for days out. Sally is married with 3 children and enjoys family days out, attending the West End, concerts, swimming and gardening.

Sally will be working with each of the Section groups offering Section chairs support with administration and organisation for the Section meetings. Sally will also undertake any research required and ensure all action points between meetings are fulfilled.
