As part of its 20th Anniversary celebrations, West Midlands based Repose Furniture is supporting the Mary Stevens Hospice (www.marystevenshospice.co.uk)
Throughout April, the fundraising team at the hospice have been busy gathering as many Easter eggs as possible from local businesses and organisations for its 2019 Easter Egg Hunt and coffee morning which took place on Saturday April 20th. Julie Underhill and Sophie Small from Repose were determined to do their bit to support this year’s Easter egg hunt and set about contacting their suppliers, retailers, families and friends to see how many they could collect.
“The Mary Stevens Hospice is such an amazing charity which we are incredibly proud to support. When we spoke to people to explain what we were doing each and every one of them said they would help us with a donation” commented Julie.
Within days, boxes of Easter eggs started turning up at the company’s headquarters in Cradley Heath and by the Wednesday before Easter, Julie and Sophie were surrounded by just under 400 eggs in total which were promptly loaded up and delivered to the Hospice.
“Julie and Sophie have done an amazing job in collecting so many Easter eggs and on behalf of the team here at Repose I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation. The support which is provided by the staff at Mary Stevens Hospice is invaluable to the local community and we will be helping them with further fundraising events throughout 2019” commented Managing Director Lisa Wardley.
