British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) are pleased to announce that Jeane Freeman MSP OBE, the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport will be the headline speaker at the Scottish Conference being organised by the BHTA Scotland section at the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh on Tuesday 27th November 2018 followed by an evening reception in the Scottish Parliament Holyrood.
The BHTA Scotland section meeting will be held before the conference, starting at 11.30am at the hotel.

1.40 pm – Keynote speaker: Dr Lewis Macdonald MSP : Convener of the Scottish Parliament Health and Sports Committee
2.10 pm – Keynote speaker: Alison Keir: Royal College of Occupational Therapist ((RCOT) – Policy Officer Scotland
2.40 pm – Keynote speaker: Michelle Thompson: Founding Director Momentous Change Limited
3.15 pm – Break for teas and coffee
3.25 pm – Keynote speaker : Andrew Mott Head of Housing Markets, Strategy and North Programmes, More Homes Division The Scottish Government
4.00 pm – Headline speaker: Jeane Freeman MSP OBE: Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport
4.30 pm – Event closing remarks by Andrew Stevenson: BHTA Interim Director General
BHTA Scotland Evening Reception:
The Conference will be followed by an evening reception in The Members’ Room in the Scottish Parliament building Holyrood Edinburgh hosted by Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP from 6.00pm until 8.00pm with a display of some of the latest product innovations that are changing healthcare provision in Scotland
