BHTA Welcomes New £2.9 billion funding to strengthen care for the vulnerable

BHTA representing manufacturers, service providers and retailers of medical and assistive technology equipment has stressed the importance this equipment plays in enabling patients to return home.  Provision of equipment such as bathlifts, stairlifts and wheelchairs will play a vital role in making at least 15,000 beds available during the coronavirus outbreak, the aim outlined in the government’s announcement of £2.9 billion to strengthen care for vulnerable people.
