BHTA Engage Ltd’s first move was to acquire The Homecare Industry Information Service (THIIS) which produces a monthly magazine and website (www.thiis.co.uk). The magazine is a trade publication, read by anyone who either manufactures or sells products in the disability, rehabilitation, assistive technology and homecare markets.
The website is used by hundreds of trade and professional visitors, such as OTs, Loan Store Managers, Moving & Handling Specialists and Pressure Care Advisors, to keep up to date about new products, new literature, the latest news items and jobs on offer in the sector.
Over the past two years a new title, AT Today, has been developed in partnership between THIIS and the BHTA. AT Today carries the latest news and developments in the assistive technology sector and is designed for professionals working in the sector. The magazine is available online too at www.attoday.co.uk. As part of the agreement, AT Today also becomes a BHTA Engage publication.
